RE. OIL FEED TO ENGINE GEARS.

I am very keen on this improvement being applied to the cars as soon as ever possible, and suggest that until such time as front wheelcases can be cast with the altered position of boss, the present feed into the existing case could be altered so that the oil is fed on to the front of the gear instead of to the middle, as at present.

The suggested method of doing this to make sure that the union could be screwed up into the right position, could be done by a locking device which would hold it in this position only.

I should be glad if you will give the matter your serious consideration and let us know what prospects there are of such being applied.
