(3) Ball bearing servo bridge.

(4) Non-fading servo linings.

The most important of these modifications is (1) 35° angle cams. The Test Department had a pair of these handed to them by the Experimental Department, which they tested on a production chassis, and without question, they are a decided improvement, and will bring the 20/25 braking in line with the other two productions. This pair of cams - which are the only pair available - were handed by the Experimental Dept. to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to try out on a trial car. Archer, however, will personally take steps to obtain these cams from Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}, and superintend the fitting of them to your new 20/25.

With regard to items (2), (3) and (4), the Experimental Department have none of these available. Instructions, however, have been issued during the last few days to manufacture some of them. Immediately a set is ready, we will arrange for the parts to be fitted to your car.

The fitting of the 35° cams is, as mentioned above, the most important modification, and we believe will effect all the improvement which is required by you at the moment, and this is confirmed by the Experimental Dept.

Paragraph 8. Steering.
Before the complete car was delivered to you, all the modifications recently recommended by the Experimental Dept. were carried out.

We have obtained from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} a shorter pendulum lever, and this was despatched to N. on the 26th for them to fit to your car. The fitting of this lever, however, will be supervised by Archer, who will give Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} all the necessary particulars.

(Not mentioned in your memo).
In addition to the Pendulum Lever, a special Autovac Tank with extension to the tap to suit the Dashboard Isolation Scheme was also sent to N. on the 26th to be fitted to your car.

Paragraphs 9, 10, 11 & 12. Petrol Consumption.
In view of the fact that during your Easter run you only drove fast for a small portion of the time, 13 1/2 m.p.g. is not good for the modified form of the present 20/25 H.P. Carburetter; our Test Dept. obtains 15/16 m.p.g. On my car, the petrol consumption works out at 17 m.p.g.
