-3- The carburetter on your new car was modified in London after the chassis left the Works. We should, therefore, like an opportunity of going over it, and to enable us to do this we are sending to N. to-day a carburetter to replace the one at present fitted. Paragraph 13. My car - Brakes. The brakes are good for the type. The only trouble we have had in maintaining them is frequent adjustment to avoid thumping when the brakes are suddenly applied. Steering. This has always been a "joggler", and sometime ago a Marles type steering was fitted by the Experimental Department, and although some improvement was made as regards the lightness of the steering, this has not improved the joggling as much as we would have expected. | ||
