STANDARDISATION OF PARTS
Description: DELETION OF CAM BALANCER FACE ON CRANKCASE.
Date Issued: 31.8.38
Sheet No.: W.1.
Drg. No.:
L.O.P.S.
Purpose: Originally left on crankcase as a precautionary measure in case it would be necessary to refit balancer.
Brief Report and Remarks: By investigation results and the fact that running has been continued on the road without cam balancers yet without any gear rattle due to the absence of the balancer, the racing of the crankcase to suit the fitment of a balancer can be deleted.
