Description: 'GENERAL' type Bye-pass Filter.
Purpose: To keep oil in clean condition and all the advantages derived therefrom including increased mileage between oil drainings.
Brief Report and Remarks:
This filter which has been standardised for C series Wraith has run 15,000 miles on 8.B.V. and proposed to incorporate on second half of M series.
The mounting for the filter together with pipes has been tried up to ensure it does not foul on a B.II chassis.

Production Position and Comments:
The 'General' type By-pass Oil Filter, as standardised for Wraith 'C' series, was introduced on Bentley at the 61st. Chassis in 'M' Series without scrap.
There is a tool cost of £16.10.0d. and an increase in Factory Cost of 19/10d. per chassis.
