Many thanks for suggestion of contact maker for fuses.

One fears, however, when made in quantity that it has not enough elasticity. We must persevere with a sheet metal one which should be ten times more elastic.

Kindly remember that ebonite face insulation would not be satisfactory, especially if exposed to the tropical heat of a dashboard. It was intended to use Bakelite or vulcasbestos.

We have decided to go to the more old fashioned scheme of thin face insulation with thick bushes, so as to admit of the use of mica, or micanite.

The Ferodo people are doing much work like moulded insulation; I am sending them a letter to see if we can persuade them to make such materials a speciality, ebonite, stabalite, bakelite, vulcasbestos, mica, and micanite, prepared waterproof cardboard, paper, and linen sheet, are the only materials we know - samples of these and others would be useful in designing.
