ROLLS-ROYCE, DERBY.

Dear Mr. Bond,

In continuation of my letter ref. 13234/X.6 of 22nd inst., I have had a long discussion with Mr. Fenn, who thoroughly agrees with what I stated in my letter to you, and as Fenn, when he sells a car, knows for what purpose it is going to be used, I think it would be wise if he has discretionary powers to fit here either Balloon or High Pressure, and it occurs to me that possibly our new Medallion Tyre might be the very thing which they are looking for, and I contemplate presenting a couple of these tyres when received to the Maharaja of Barrackpore, who uses his cars more for Shikar work that any other Maharaja.

As a further suggestion, it might be worth your while to get in touch with Mr. L. Kirby, who is the Motor Superintendent of the Patiala State and is now in England. I have not got his actual address, but on enquiry through Mr. Wheeler, the Export Manager for Rolls-Royce, I am sure you could be put in touch with Mr. Kirby.

Yours faithfully,

(Signed) REGINALD FORD.
