To Whr{Mr Wheeler}/Ro.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG23.7.28.

DUNLOP LOW PRESSURE TYRES. X 8430.

With reference to Whr{Mr Wheeler}/Ro{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}4/AP18.7.28. It is very difficult for us to in any way reproduce Indian conditions on our tests here. This is quite evident from the fact that we have not appreciated the weakness of the balloon tyres when used for hunting. We did not appreciate that balloon tyres would have weaknesses when used for Shikkar.

We have gone into the matter with Dunlops and now recommend that our people out there and Sir Reginald Ford are left to specially equip cars used for abnormal conditions. We are satisfied that none of the tyres proposed to fit will be detrimental to the steering of the car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
