Messrs. The India Tyre Co. Ltd.,
Inchinnan,
Scotland.

Dear Sirs,

Your letter of the 13th. ult. ref. JQ/VG. addressed to our Mr. Chichester has been passed on to the Experimental Dept.

The size of tyre we are interested in is 33 X 6.75" suitable for well base wheels. We require them to run with a low pressure of 35 to 40 lbs/sq.in. with a load on the tyre of approximately 25 cwts. per wheel.

It is essential that the tyres should be reasonably silent with an effective non-skid tread.

Will you please let us know the price of a set of 6 tyres.

If we decided to proceed to test these tyres we should make it a condition that if during the first 100 miles they shewed up faults which made them unsuitable for Rolls-Royce cars, we should return them to you without any charge to ourselves.

Yours faithfully,
