The front Direction Indicator will, therefore, be fixed to the right or left of the driver's seat according to whether the steering wheel is on the right or left; in countries where the rule of the road is to the right the rear indicator will be fixed on the left, and on the right in countries where the rule of the road is to the left. When using two indicators it is not absolutely necessary to employ two Contax I. We nevertheless recommend at least one Contax I for the indicator on the front, as by this means the driver, immediately after the operation of the Contax always has a control over the correct or contemplated position of the arrow by the one visible from the back.
