X8560 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} /T8.12.27. MACONITE WIRES. X3860 We have now in the laboratory for comparative test and report - (1) A complete set of Glover H.T. cable used on battery ignition on 8-EX, having run approx. 15,000 miles. (2) A sandwich set of Maconite and Glover H.T. cable, used on chassis 11-G3, having run 11,000 miles. (3) A complete set of Maconite cable (battery and magneto ignition) off 12-EX, having run approximately 20,000 miles. (4) A complete set of Maconite cable (battery and magneto ignition) off 10-G3, having run approximately 10,000 miles. (5) There will, when time permits be a complete set of sandwich Glover and Maconite H.T. wires from 7-EX, which will be removed and brought in to the laboratory when the car is returned. Comparative tests will be made on these wires with our H.T. transformers, and a complete report will be issued leading probably to a recommendation for standard-isation of Maconite cable. EFC. {E.
