E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} says "No progress since last reporting on this.

MINUTE 7. P.II.
Boring out cylinders etc. of SS{S. Smith}-JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary}
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} says "The P.II. unit with bored out cylinders has been run for a number of hours on the test bed. Development work on this engine is still in progress on the test bed and we shall not put the unit into SS{S. Smith}-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} until we are satisfied with it."

MINUTE 8. INDEPENDENT SPRINGING.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} states "We now have complete schemes for the front end applied to P.II. including steering box, exhaust system, wings, lamps and radiator."

MINUTE 9. RADIATORS.

(These models are those referred to in Minute 8.p.8. Jan.12, and are to be made up for inspection having radiused corners and of a form which it may be possible to produce as a pressing, and to be used as a loose shell, chromium plated.)
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} states that he has been able to simplify part of the Bentley radiator in altering the design of the bottom tank so that it can be made as a complete tank. We propose applying this as a first modification of the "Peregrine."
These models are independent of the 4 - 2 for Peregrine and 2 for 20/25. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} saw Peregrine type when at Works. The 2 of 20/25 H.P. type are in hand.

MINUTE 10. ENGINE MOUNTING.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} says "Engine mounting experiments with floating power. Scheme for this is nearly ready for issuing."

MINUTE 11. "Z" SERIES MODIFICATIONS. Automatic control to shock dampers, to be fitted after 5,000 miles.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} states that 18-G4 is going to France on Saturday (6.5.33.) Amongst other features it will have new type shock absorbers set at a definite load, but will not have automatic control.
RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} says "The dampers and controls are now complete and ready for fitting, and it is expected the first set will be fitted to 27-EX.
