+1091 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ru.2/KW. 23rd May, 1935. Captain S.B. Wilks, The Rover Company Ltd., Coventry. Dear Capt. Wilks, Referring to the chromium plated tappets which you sent us, we have now tested these and returned them to you under separate cover. The thick chromium plating is really done very well. We shall be interested to know whether it is possible, by altering the design of the tappet or any other means, to induce the chromium to stay on the tappet. We shall be interested to hear your opinion on these. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
