To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X8410 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/LG27.5.27. Pt's Springing for Australia. X8410 X8990 Confirming our conversation on the subject, we have gone into the question of the springing of Pt's car and consider that if 2000 lbs. springs and 2100 lbs. springs are fitted they will be equivalent to 15%.stronger than normal for the load he usually carries. Some misunderstanding has been occasioned by the fact that the car was originally specified as being likely to carry 7 passengers with a quantity of luggage - actually, the car is only a 4-seater and will not carry more than 4 passengers.
