1204 W/S. DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.4.4.49. Dear DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom}, I think the best definition of the word 'Judder' is - "A relatively low frequency vibration occasioned by the fact that the coefficient of friction at rest is greater than the coefficient in motion. It is likely to occur in any case where a high new friction material is used, and this is particularly applicable to the functioning of a clutch or brakes. It can also take place between the tyre and the road." It seems that in the advertisement quoted juddering of the brakes would be referred to. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
