Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}5/H20732. 20th July, 1932. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. Your Ref: E.1.POD. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 19th inst., enclosing revised lay-out of speedometer dial marked in miles and kilometres. We believe this to be a great improvement on the old one and much more legible when the car is travelling. Subject to the approval of our Works, we are agreeable to your adopting this in place of the previous dial with smaller figures. We presume this dial is for the 20/25-HP. Chassis, as if it was for the 40/50-HP. 80 m.p.h. would not be sufficient. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Sales Manager. ENC: | ||
