To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ12/H27.5.21. ~~Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}JR{Mr James Royce}~~ [Handwritten]: X3545 X 3545 x4299 Re Freeston's Tour. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG25.5.21. As the test to be made by Mr. Freeston is of very great importance to us, and as he intends to do a very considerable amount of mountain-climbing, will you kindly let us know why you have come to the opinion that the 15-tooth axle will be better than the 14-tooth axle for this purpose? Perhaps it is because the 14-tooth axle has not been sufficiently tested for us to rely on it, and of course reliability is the most important point in these tests. B.J.
