The status and testing of a 20/25 HP Special Touring Saloon chassis, 20-G4.

SPECIAL TOURING SALOON 20-G4. With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E20.11.31, this chassis is well in hand. The chassis is complete except for engine unit, gearbox, and exhaust system. The engine unit is complete and at present on test on the test bed, the gearbox and exhaust system are also in hand. We believe the body will be ready for delivery after next week end; we are going to Park Wards tomorrow, taking with us the correct bonnet, front apron, and other parts for painting. We shall then be able to find out when to expect delivery of the body. After the body is mounted on its correct chassis we shall expect to keep it for at least a fortnight for testing purposes, after which it should be ready for Sales.
