Dear Sirs,

YOUR REFERENCE:- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}/.6/AP

We thank you for your letter of January 18th enclosing prints Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}491 and GW.395 showing a suggested arrangement for the Clevite Bush in your Pivot Pin, but would like to state that it is not a good practice with our Split Bushes to enclose them in a Steel Sleeve as shown by you.

We therefore enclose Blue Print of our SK.50 also Blue Print No.840.B. showing an alternative arrangement with a loose Bronze Washer, the advantage of which is, that it does not need locating.

We would suggest therefore, that you arrange to bring through some experimental Stub Axles on which this arrangement could be tried out, and shall be very pleased to have your comments in due course.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times,

Yours faithfully,

VANDERVELL PRODUCTS LIMITED
