TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to - CJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M26.1.26. EAC.7. DOUBLE REAR BRAKES. 47360 We send herewith N. schemes 2008., 2129., and 2130., which are suggestions for camshaft arrangements in connection with the double rear brake schemes we have sent to R.{Sir Henry Royce} We have not worked out the details of all of them as we are waiting for R.{Sir Henry Royce} to give us an idea of which type of scheme he prefers. N. scheme 2129. shews a suggestion for re-arranging the brakes so as to give more clearance with the petrol tank, and originates from R.{Sir Henry Royce}, but we are not sure that he will care for it now. We should like you to deal with these drawings in the same way that you are dealing with the arrangements of the double rear brakes we have previously sent you. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
