Enamel for Radiator Matrix.
-------------------------

We send herewith a sample of Matt Black Cellulose Enamel which we have obtained from Messrs. Park Ward & Co, and also the piece of sheet treated with this enamel.

We supplied the Shop with some of this enamel to treat the matrix of the sample radiator with Packard type grill. Dullness of finish for which this enamel is extraordinarily good is an essential feature if we are to hide the internal bracing of the Phantom III and Bentley radiators when a permanently opened grill is used.

We would like to try this enamel on a SpectreCodename for Phantom III and on a Bentley having the centrally mounted wings and radiator.

This enamel may adhere quite satisfactorily to bare metal but we are inclined to think that as it has a matt surface it will not contain much binders, and therefore we suggest that it may be best to apply it after a light coat of our normal enamel has been put on.

This enamel is known officially as "Matt Black Cellulose Enamel" No.S.4807, made by Nobel Chemical Finishes Ltd., Slough, England.
