RECEIVED FEB 16 1927 With reference to your CWB10/GM16 2.27. I have gone into this matter on cars on test, also with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and the Drawing Office. It is agreed that the clearance is insufficient and that more will be obtained as soon as it can be arranged conveniently. We are afraid the job cannot easily be done by fixing on an angled type of lubricator, as we are then in difficulty with the clearance to the side steering tube. Will BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please consider, when some definite scheme is agreed upon, supplying information for circulating to Depots, in order to deal with complaints in regard to this matter. EP.{G.
