We note your advice in regard to this. We shall be glad, therefore, if you will please arrange to send a new cylinder head to Paris together with full instructions as to the fitting, etc. and also give instructions to GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} to do the final testing, if necessary.

In regard to this matter, we still feel that we are rather accepting the fact, possibly without fully satisfying ourselves that it is correct, that this Continental model is up to what it should be.

You will, of course, remember that the Baron is not actually complaining of the inability to attain high top speed, but is complaining of the fact that it is slower than his standard Phantom II, whereas one would expect it to be at least as fast, unless there is some reason, either of the car not being tuned up to concert pitch, or wind resistance not having been saved as much as it should have been; so that this point should have been borne in mind.
