Thanks for E.1/HP.12.2.35. I have noted all that you say and we are very glad indeed to note that you have added a further bracket on each side of the chassis for body mounting opposite the strong point formed by the rear end of the cross and further brackets in other positions.

After examining the Cadillac it was quite obvious that our body mounting facilities/were nothing like as good as they ought to be and I think that one thing at least that will be learnt from the Cadillac is how to improve our body mounting.

I am not sure whether you had studied the Cadillac chassis at the date you wrote your memo. but should be interested to hear your comments generally after you have seen both the chassis and the body at Lillie Hall.
