This chassis has been fitted up with the AC T type mechanical petrol pump in parallel with a single H.P. unit mounted on the engine foot. This electrical pump is connected to a & both positions on the trial switch. Thus with the switch in B position only the AC will supply the engine. If tests are required using only the SU pump the primary trigger of the AC pump should be tied down. In ordinary running the SU pump having a higher delivery pressure than the AC will be in operation. There is no fuse in the SU circuit thus care must be taken if this terminal is disconnected with the engine switched on. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} | ||
