DELCO-REMY DISTRIBUTOR.

Further to the discussion on this subject this morning, we attach a summary of the position of electrical equipment which we wrote some time ago but did not circulate. This still represents our views, though you may rest assured that if you make the decision that we design and manufacture all our electrical equipment at R.R., we shall do our best to make a success of the project.

You will appreciate that though forthwith we increase our electrical development staff, we cannot pick up people who are familiar with our work off-hand, in other words, it takes some time to train them.

Whilst we shall do all we can to complete the development of the R.R. distributor we should like to emphasise that it has done very little running so far, and we are sure that it would be folly to put it on production until it has passed successfully through our standard 15,000 miles' test in France.
