Ignition Plug Terminals, and High Tension wire.

Upon making enquiries at Licklewood re the above, a certain amount of trouble is being experienced at the Depot with the high tension wire pulling out of the terminals. So far in production no change has been noticed with regard to the centre screw having been changed, probably the stock at the Depot is of the first design.

The trouble is caused by the dia of the hole in our sleeve for the wire being of large, also by the almost impossibility of getting the screw into the centre of the cable when screwing into position. If the hole in our sleeve should be tapered inwards and of such a dia that, with expansion of the cable (when screwed home), the cable should pass tightly in our sleeve. The screw in the present plug is too small a dia (is reported upon during early part of a year ago?) It should be increased in dia a further
