ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. RR 238 (150 BKS.) (OB 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 To____________________ Order No. (3) Customer's No.____________________ not much difference between the standard coil and the P.W.P. coil after prolonged heating, the balance being certainly in favour of the std coil which would start the engine better when the former was hot. It will be realised that this is only one particular case and further tests will shew up the superiority or otherwise of the P.W.P coil. These tests also shew that a reduction in the length of ballast would be an advantage, if only the temp of the coil when left on contact could be kept within reasonable limits. Signed H.{Arthur M.
