Brakes Squeaking. | W. 1. N. - P. - | W. 1. N. 10. P. - Total: 12. | 16. | The anti-squeak device is not always a cure. We have sometimes to renew brake linings, and on a few occasions have had to renew brake drums.
Crankshaft Broken. | W. 1. N. - P. - | W. - N. - P. - Total: 1. | - | A new stiffer crankshaft is now in use.
Dynamo Failures. | W. 3. N. 1. P. - | W. 4. N. 5. P. - Total: 13. | 7. | 57 segments are now standard on production. We still get a few failures with the latest type dynamos.
Engine Slipper Drive Seizures. | W. 1. N. 2. P. - | W. 10. N. 19. P. - Total: 32. | 37. | In spite of carrying out the latest improvements, i.e. cotton duck friction washers and new spring poundage, we are still getting slipper drives which increase in loading and become uneven in action with running.
