| RR 75E (10H) (30405. 21-4-32) BM. 3/8382/4. COMPLETED 28.3.33 STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Date 12.8.32 Description of Parts. ENGINE LOW INERTIA DAMPER WITH STRENGTHENED FRICTION PLATE. Origin. To overcome failure of friction plate. Experimental Test Report. There have been several friction plates failed on production cars. The previous friction plate fitted to 19-EX had cracked. We find it essential to still use cotton duck, all other materials tried having failed. Road Test Report. Fitted to 19-EX and ran 10,000 miles in France. Examined at finish of mileage and found to be in good condition. Weight of Old Part. Weight of New Part. Difference per Car.
