PHANTOM DAMPER HAND CONTROL.
We send herewith N. sch. 3667. shewing the control gear for the operation of the valve on the damper governor unit.
As far as we are aware we have provided adequate clearance between the control rods and fittings already on the chassis, but as we have no opportunity of looking at a chassis we may have missed something of importance. Would Derby kindly check this at an early date.
We suggest that the aluminium bracket for the spindle which passes through the dash need not be bushed, and we shew separately a bracket without bushes.
The lever on the accelerator pedal shaft is set differently from standard to give clearance for the control rod.
