Instructions to modify a special large output dynamo for chassis 100-EF destined for India to prevent overheating.

With reference to the instructions which have been issued to supply and fit a special selected large output dynamo, although we have promised that the dynamo will give a greater output than our standard in view of the extra electrical equipment which it is proposed to fit to the above chassis, we do not wish to run any risk of trouble arising due to increased temperature effects, particularly in view of the fact that the chassis is going to India, therefore will you please modify the pole shoes similar to what we do to obtain greater silence, and leave the control brush so that same can be adjusted by EFC. to obtain the maximum greater output that is permissible without causing any serious increase in the working temperature of the machine. Will the Works please hand over the above dynamo to EFE. so that same can be set and tested in accordance with our requirements. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
