The Packless Gland Co. Ltd, -2- Since your visit to Derby, which unfortunately came at rather a rushed period, we have gone into the matter of testing each thermostat as it arrives in the works. Every thermostat when it comes to the works is tested on a very ordinary rig to see that it gives the figures as quoted on our drawing. We think you will find it considerably easier to copy our existing thermostat rather than trying to supply us with a better setting, which may not be practical from a point of expansion of fluid. Yours truly, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
