Buffer to axle clearances with new rear springs

taken with 2 1/2 cwts. ballast on carrier and spare wheel.

Ribbed drums were fitted to this car. High carbon steel to the front and Lake & Elliott cast iron to the rear - all solid drums.

Stronger valve springs were fitted which put the balancing speed up to approx. 60 M.P.H. The servo of this car was improved by the fitting of 35° ball bearing servo cam.
