X3117 To G/Rb.{R. Bowen} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}3/MJ.4.10.32. D.W.S. PERMANENT JACKS. We have yet to approve of the final scheme of jack fixing for P.11 cars. The makers inform us that they hope to let us have a set at the end of this week. We imagine that the makers will be able to quote one price which will include the jack and all the fittings specially made to suit our car. The only additional cost therefore will be the labour when they are fixed on to the chassis. We think the makers will be in a position to quote a price for the jacks now.
