Dear Mr Robotham:

We shall be pleased to supply you with a 'V-8' Ford Rear Axle, less torque tube, and will despatch one to you on receipt of your formal order. The price will be £11.9.3 delivered to your works.

I am glad to be able to inform you that we are in a very happy position with regard to oil consumption, and have no trouble whatever at the present time. It is very good of you to offer to discuss this matter with us, and I shall take full advantage of it if we need help later on.

Mr Grylls asked the tool cost for rolling the axle sleeves. Our axle housing tube is not rolled, but is pressed and welded. The tool cost is as follows:-

Blank £472.2.11.
1st Form £510.0.0.
2nd Form £496.0.0.
Final Form £324.15.10.
Seam Weld £ 60.0.0.
Re-strike £392.10.0.

Total tool cost £2255.8.10.

Trusting that this is what you require.

With kind regards.

Yours sincerely
