Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/MA.13.4.33. BENSPORT RADIATOR BOTTOM TANK. tie We are arranging to leave out the/bars across the Bensport radiator bottom tank for our first 10,000 mile run. The objection to them is that they obstruct the water flow in the bottom tank, and with the vertical type of water way as on the Marston and Harrison radiator block this is apt to reduce the flow down one half of the radiator since the outlet is in one corner. Will you therefore delete the tie bars from the drawing and we will reintroduce them should we find it necessary. We have, however, already completed a run on 19-EX., in France with the bottom tank of greater width and length without any trouble.
