| 1042. also To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}8/JH.6.4.38. re 32.EX. Will you please have the following parts interchanged with 35.EX or removed as requested below before the car is disposed of. (1) Wraith wheel movement suspension, comprising top-bottom triangles, yokes, pivots, cross steering tubes and side steering tubes. Steering gears need not be transferred as they are identical. Bakelite ball pads should be fitted to the cross steering tube when fitted to 32.EX, these will be supplied. (2) Hobson electric telegauge and warning light to be removed. (3) Overdrive gearbox. This will have to be changed, we are trying to find a standard box. (4) Remove dynamo and return to exptl. (a replacement motor will be supplied). (5) Three of the four contact levers in the distributor have loose bushes: new levers should be fitted. (6) Flywheel markings are 180° out, these will have to be remarked. (7) R.R. prop. shaft should be fitted if not already on. (8) Interchange fan and drive with 35.EX and fit standard starting handle bracket. (9) Threaded shackles are fitted on rear springs.
