Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
D E R B Y.

For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to our letter of yesterday regarding the rear road springs for your Sports Chassis 23.E.X.

In view of the fact that the finished weight of the Rear Spring is of first importance, we enclose our Drawing No. 21, which shows a 5 plate spring, with finished weight 83 lbs. This represents the limit we recommend.

We have placed the clips in positions to give the necessary clearances as mentioned in your letter of January 16th., and will endeavour to supply the set for this chassis in 4 weeks time, if you like this spring.

Please let us know if we may proceed with the work.

Yours faithfully,
THOS. FIRTH & SONS, LIMITED.

M Banister
Director.
