Huckerby}13.4.39. CONVENTIONAL 8 ENGINE. In our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}5/JH.20.2.39 we instructed that patterns should be made for the crankcase and the cylinder head for the above engine. Actually we should like the whole of the patterns that are necessary for the above engine to be completed, (i.e. wheelcase, induction system and water pump, etc.), so that in the event of a failure on the existing B.80 engine everything will be ready for making the Conventional 8.
