With reference to Mr Royce's request that all parts should have their weight with limits on the drawings, will you kindly obtain these weights as follows :- A suitable sample should be selected in the rough and checked to drawing for agreement as regards thickness of webs and machining allowances etc. The parts should then be weighed carefully by the D.O. and passed on to the Works Inspectors in order that they may confirm that the machining allowances are suitable for production.
