Timing and cost for introducing an improvement to the Bentley model, including a shrouded magnet design.

Will you kindly see if it is possible to adhere to this programme of dates.

Re Bentley, this improvement could be introduced on this at the same but not before the 20/25. Perhaps you will let us know, therefore, after consideration, the point at which you would suggest this should come in on the Bentley, bearing in mind these wishes and having regard to your commitments of material and the fact that if introduced at the 101st in "E" series it would be slightly ahead of the 20/25.

What we should like to know is the cost of this alteration, because we have as yet no idea whether it involves any extra cost, and if so how much per chassis.

There has been some suggestion of the shrouded magnet design also being incorporated. Will you please let us know if that is to be introduced at the same time? As the instrument board lay-out is not being altered from what it has been in the past we presume there is no real need yet to introduce this shrouded magnet design, so possibly you may decide to leave that until later.
