S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from C. V2465. C8/C21.3.35 Re MOBILOIL - CLEAROSOL. You have no doubt seen the particulars and claims the Vacuum Oil Co. are making for this new oil, and there is no doubt that we shall be receiving enquiries from customers as to whether or not they may use this oil. I understand you have not yet been able to try it out, as you have not had a car available upon which you have not been trying other things which would confuse the issue. It occurs to us, however, that you are now sending out 21-G-4 for the smaller type wheel trial, and this might be a suitable opportunity of trying the above oil, as I believe the lead bronze bearings, etc. have already been passed on this car. We understand that they propose publishing advertisements concerning it on April 3rd so that we would like to know as soon as we can whether or not we can recommend it. Perhaps you will please let me know. C. | ||
