| --BY-- SET WWT/SKN. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} D/BP/HF{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}4/OG5-7-34. Ref Chassis No.B-187-BL E.R. Hall, Esq. Please note we have more information regarding the springing of above chassis. The position is Mr. Hall intends to have this chassis mounted with the body built for chassis B-35-AE. This body was of a very special design and according to the weight obtained during the final test of the car weighed not more than 3 cwts, although the chassis had been sprung for a body weighing 8 cwts. Mr. Hall has been very satisfied indeed with the springing of B-35-AE so that in Sales view the present chassis ought to be sprung similarly, in spite of the fact that the body will be so light. Sales suggest, however, that you have a word with 'Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' to whom Mr. Hall is well-known, and he will be able to say whether the chassis ought to be strongly sprung for the work Mr. Hall does. As regards the 22 gallon petrol tank, chassis B-35-AE is to come to us to be specially tuned up and to be fitted with another still larger tank and the idea is that the 22 gallon tank and gauge should be removed and put on to the new chassis.
