Creation of a special gearbox and the transfer of parts between chassis B-35-AE and B-187-BL for customer E.R. Hall.

Hall, Esq., Chassis No. B-35-AE and B-187-BL. We now learn that in addition to the special petrol tank which the Experimental Dept. are making up for B-35-AE, you are also to make up a special gearbox for this car. Mr. Hall has enquired at Conduit Street if the present box can be built into his new chassis No. B-187-BL. We are asked to look into this matter and let him know if it can be done. We are also to state what allowance we can make on the price of the new chassis providing the gearbox from B-35-AE can be transferred to B-187-BL. Incidentally Mr. Hall is now enquiring when he can have delivery of chassis B-187-BL. No doubt the Works will be able to give us some information on this point when 'BY' can confirm that the gearbox can be transferred. In regard to the special tank and the special gearbox which are being made up for B-35-AE, we presume that Mr. Hall will pay for these and that in due course the Cost Dept. will be given information to enable them to arrive at the amount.
