Dear Ward,

Would you be good enough to supplement those figures which you gave me on Monday, with a cost analysis of the lightened type 12.B.5. model of body.

As I understand the situation, the B.5. bodies, for which you quoted a factory cost of £240, have aluminium panels and wings and therefore the only difference between these and the 12.B.5. type is the lightened framework.

If the framework could be produced from the same tools as that of the standard body, I gather that there would be very little difference in cost between the two.

Please let me know if I am wrong.

Yours sincerely,
