Mr C. has instructed me to do this as I gather they may want to borrow the car from you. Do you think you could let them have the car for a few days later on? ES

Dear Sirs,

RE DROP HEAD COUPE. BENTLEY "B"

When Sales viewed the Bentley "B" Drop Head Coupe at Derby they did not accept the view that the head of this coupe should have been constructed in such a way that it should have a good shape when up, to the detriment of its appearance when down. We agree that we agreed to this when the body was designed.

We would be glad if you would kindly set out a modified head using the same fittings as far as possible but doing away with all the wooden formers on the sticks and dispensing with the head lining. Everything should be done to make the head lie as flat as possible when down.

If you would kindly set this out the writer will call and inspect the design soon after the holiday and will make arrangements for you to have the car.

An estimate of the cost of the work should be sent to Mr. Honeyman with a copy to the writer.

Yours faithfully,

H.I.F.Evernden.
