ATTENTION OF MR. C. WARD. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X4702 EVI/3.6.33. Messrs Park Ward & Co. Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, N.W.10. Dear Sirs, RE WINGS FOR BENTLEY "B" SALOON. The Experimental Dept. at Derby want to fit a new set of front wings and running boards to the green Bentley "B" Saloon. The type of front wing and running board required is that fitted to the black saloon, the first car, with this exception, that the front wings have to be carried over the wheels as in the attached print. We are aware that the rear wings will not quite match as they are slightly flared but we do not think that this will be noticed. It will certainly not interfere with the experiment. We would be glad if you could put these in hand at once as they are urgently needed. If you will inform the writer when they will be ready he will arrange for you to send to Derby for fitting and painting. Will you please send an estimate for this work to Mr Honeyman, with a copy to me, but the work need not be held up awaiting its acceptance. Yours faithfully, H.I.P.Evernden. | ||
