Dear Fred,

Herewith the letter that I mentioned to you which was written to my Uncle by Mr. Cooper of Hoffmanns. When you have read it, I will be interested to hear what you feel, and if you want me to write to my Uncle again telling our side of the story, because in this letter it looks as if they were shielding themselves and passing the blame on to us. Please do not do anything in connection with this letter direct to Hoffmanns as this might cause a certain amount of ill feeling. When you write perhaps you would send the letter back to me.

I enjoyed seeing everybody in the Works when I was up on Saturday. I was sorry to learn that you had so over driven your car that the engine has had to come down already.

Yours,

Roger
