RATIONALISED CHASSIS - RE: ROCKING SHAFT.

I am in agreement with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}16.6.39. not only from the evidence brought forward in the memo in question but in view of the results of the bumping tests on the Phantom III, which are conclusive that that size of shaft is ample for the purpose of our Rationalised chassis.

We shall therefore follow Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}'s recommendation in not increasing the size of the rocking shaft.
